Jun 05, 2012 (newstodate): The new Ukrainian carrier Air Onix, starting flights on its first route on April 28, 2012, is already adding another aircraft to its fleet.
From the outset, the carrier has been operating one Boeing 737-300 aircraft, formerly operated by Estonian Air.
A second aircraft has now been added, an ex-Aerosvit Boeing 737-500 that will enable the carrier to increase frequencies on its existing route between Kiev and Simferopol as well as opening up flights to new domestic destinations including Lvov.
Plans by Air Onix, based at Simferopol, is to grow to three Boeing aircraft in the first phase of operations.
