Jun 29, 2012 (newstodate): May 2012 was not exactly a month of growth for SAS Cargo in its Nordic home markets.
The company lifted a total of 2,744 tonnes of cargo from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland - a decline by 15 percent, y-o-y.
In Denmark, volumes were down by 12.9 percent to 854 tonnes, securing a #1 position among IATA carriers.
In Norway the company dropped 13 percent in volumes to 572 tonnes, ranking #7 in the market.
In Sweden SAS Cargo generated 1,161 tonnes of export cargo, down 17,2 percent but ranking #1.
And in Finland, SAS Cargo was #5 with 131 tonnes, down 26.1 percent, y-o-y.
