Jun 29, 2012 (newstodate): Latest CASS statistics covering May 2012 did not change the over-all picture as to export air cargo in the Nordic region: Norway leads the team, and Sweden continues to drop in volumes.
What was new, however, is that Norway overtook Sweden in total IATA export cargo volumes, reaching 8,443 tonnes against Sweden's total of 7,546 tonnes.
Norway's volumes were thus up by 21.7 percent, y-o-y, while Sweden's volumes dropped 24.3 percent.
With 5,966 tonnes, Denmark saw its IATA export down by 10.3 percent to in May 2012, while Finland's volumes were down 13.3 percent to 3,037 tonnes.
