Jun 01, 2012 (newstodate): The Russian carrier IrAero has pulled out from its first and only international route into the Baltic region.
From May 21, 2012, the carrier suspended services on its route between Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Kaunas Airport, in Lithuania, citing low demand for the flights in both markets.
IrAero, based at Irkutsk Airport, launched flights on the route from December 15, 2011, offering four weekly rotations using CRJ200 aircraft.
The carrier operates a fleet comprising four An-24, nine An-26, and four Embraer CRJ200 serving a network covering 18 domestic Russian destinations only.
