Jun 18, 2012 (newstodate): May proved only the second month so far in 2012 to show growth in cargo volumes at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport.
A total of 565 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport in May, an increase by 13.1 percent, y-o-y.
After May, the airport's total volume in 2012 thus landed at 2,421 tonnes, up 0.22 percent, y-o-y.
In May the totals included 476 tonnes of cargo and 89 tonnes of mail, up 25 percent and down 24 percent, respectively, compared to the preceding year.
