Jun 07, 2012 (newstodate): Dubai's first low cost airline, flydubai has now confirmed the launch of two new routes into Eastern Europe.
Effective from October 1, 2012, the carrier will start flights between Dubai and Bucharest, in Romania, offering three weekly rotations on the route.
And from October 18, 2012, flydubai will add two weekly rotations between Dubai and Skopje, in Macedonia.
flydubai is dynamically expanding its route network with opening of new destinations in Central Europe, Russia, Ukraine, and the CIS markets.
One of the first low-cost operators in the world to focus on air cargo, flydubai also launched flydubai Cargo from January 1, 2012, now offering cargo services alongside the low-cost passenger sales.
The carrier operates a fleet of 20 Boeing 737-800 aircraft on a network spanning 46 destinations including Baku, Belgrade, Donestsk, Erbil, Kazan, Kharkiv, Kiev, Samara, Sulaimaniyah, Tbilisi, Ufa, Yekaterinburg and Yerevan.
