Jun 08, 2012 (newstodate): While other airlines have rushed in to fill the void in Denmark's domestic traffic as well as regional routes from Denmark, one player has been conspicuously absent: Flybe Nordic.
So far Flybe only operates one route into Denmark, connecting Copenhagen and Stockholm.
Nor expectations are that Flybe is mulling plans for announcing new domestic flights from Copenhagen to Billund and Bornholm and other flights from Billund.
Flybe Nordic has, however, few comments to offer.
-Since entering the Nordic, Baltic and Scandinavian markets last year, Flybe has consistently indicated its intentions of expanding in the region, including the Danish domestic and regional aviation markets.
-With this intention, Flybe has been evaluating its plans for entry.
Flybe continues to evaluate the opportunities that have arisen as a result of the recently-announced bankruptcy of Cimber Sterling and will communicate further if and when any interest is confirmed, the company's press officer in Finland tells newstodate.
