Jun 19, 2012 (newstodate): Estonia is a small aviation market, and Estonian Air is a small regional carrier - but its ambitions go beyond this..
Establishing code-share agreements with large international carriers will boost traffic by Estonian Air and consolidate Tallinn Airport as a regional hub.
One latest example of this is the announcement today of a code-share agreement with Air France on the route between Tallinn and Paris, allowing seamless flights by passengers of both carriers between destinations on each others' route networks through these two gateways.
Flights between Tallinn and Paris will be performed by Estonian Air offering six weekly rotations, and after the implementation of the code-share agreement Estonian Air will move from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2D, Air France's main terminal at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Earlier, Estonian Air landed a code-share agreement with KLM on the route between Tallinn and Amsterdam, served twice-daily.
