Jun 15, 2012 (newstodate): Air India and Slovenia's Adria Airways are reportedly back to the negotiation table concerning a potential cooperation.
Already on June 15, 2011, the two parties inked an MoU to boost greater cooperation between the two carriers, aiming at code-sharing Adria Airways' flights in Europe and transiting some of the flights by Air India between India and USA through Ljubljana Airport.
Talks, however, broke down as Slovenia was not willing to accede to several demands by Air India for preferences.
Now the two parties are back with the same agenda as Slovenia reportedly is willing to take a softer stand in order to see Indian flights to the USA and India at Ljubljana Airport.
Earlier plans saw the first calls by Air India at Ljubljana Airport this summer or during the coming winter schedule.
