May 31, 2012 (newstodate): The Ukrainian carrier Aerosvit has now taken delivery of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft temporarily withheld by the manufacturer while snags in financing were being settled.
At the same time, the Ukrainian government is airing its intention to sell its remaining stake in the carrier, the country's largest with about 30 percent of the national passenger volume.
The state currently owns 22.39 percent in Aerosvit, while the majority owner is Privat Group, controlled by Igor Kolomoyskyi.
