May 31, 2012 (newstodate): Turkmenistan has opened a tender for consulting services for development of its aviation infrastructure.
Bidders will now have one month to register for participation in the tender that comprises consultancy on several airport projects in the country.
Elements in the infrastructure plan include the construction of a new international terminal at Ashgabat airport, construction of a new airport terminal at Turkmenabat Airport, and construction of a 3,800m runway, new taxiways, reconstruction of the existing apron and construction of a centralized refueling hub at Dashoguz Airport.
