May 7, 2012 (newstodate): From the coming winter schedule, competition will increase on flights between Estonia and Russia.
The Russian carrier Aeroflot is announcing its plans to launch own services between Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and Tallinn Airport from October 2012, using Airbus A319 aircraft on the route to be operated daily.
Aeroflot is currently code-sharing with Estonian Air on the the route that is operated by the Estonian carrier.
Estonian Air is currently offering daily rotations on the route between Tallinn and Moscow Sheremetyevo.
UTAir launched flights from Moscow Vnukovo Airport to Tallinn from August 1, 2011, offering daily flights on the route with CRJ200 aircraft.
