May 1, 2012 (newstodate): Russia's air cargo and mail volumes were up by 4.2 percent, y-o-y, in this year's Q1, to a total of 88,704 tonnes.
The country's international cargo increased by two percent to 63,718 tonnes, of which cargo between Russia and non-CIS markets was up 1.1 percent to 62,078 tonnes, while cargo between Russia and CIS countries increased 52.4 percent to 1,641 tonnes.
During January-March 2012, Russia's domestic cargo volumes were up 10.1 percent, to a total of 24,986 tonnes.
