May 8, 2012 (newstodate): Air cargo has not so far been in the growth mode at Prague Airport, the Czech Republic.
During this year's first quarter, a total of 13,518 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, a decline by 10.01 percent, y-o-y.
Import airfreight was down by 16.62 percent to 6,296 tonnes, and export volumes 6,960 tonnes, also dropped by 5.218 percent.
In March 2012 the decline in total volumes was 12.2 percent, to 5,037 tonnes, with import volumes down 19.34 percent to 2,338 tonnes, and export volumes down 8.38 percent to 2,541 tonnes.
