May 14, 2012 (newstodate): Palestinian Airlines is back in the air after being grounded since 2005.
The airline is now based at El Arish International Airport in Sinai, Egypt, near the Jafa crossing between Palestine and Egypt.
The airline operates two Fokker 50 aircraft, and the route will connect El Arish and Amman, in Jordan, with plans for adding flights also to Turkey, the Guld Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
