May 14, 2012 (newstodate): Norway's Trondheim Vaernes Airport will be unusually busy this summer.
The Madrid-based charter carrier Pullmantur Air is to change passengers and crews at Trondheim on its Nordic cruises this summer, and this will require the operation of three Boeing 747-400 aircraft with the first turn-around on May 19, 2012, and followed by another three calls in June.
Besides the Boeing 747 operations, the company will also charter several smaller aircraft to support the operations lifting about 4,000 passengers in and out of the airport.
