May 11, 2012 (newstodate): The Spanish low-cost carrier Iberia Express is opening flights to a spree of destinations this summer - including also flights to Latvia.
Starting from July 2012 Iberia Express will introduce two weekly rotations on the route between Madrid and Riga Airport, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Iberia Express, launched on March 25, 2012, is the attempt by International Airlines Group formed by BA and Iberia to return profitability on its short and medium-haul route network, starting out with a fleet of four Airbus A320 aircraft.
