May 18, 2012 (newstodate): Countries in the Baltic region will host two prestigious international aviation events in May 2012.
First, Estonia will host the 2012 Routes Europe, the region's annual route development forum, in Tallinn on May 20-22, 2012.
Some 800 managers and experts from 82 aviation companies are expected to take part in the forum where customers and providers meet to generate new business.
Next, Lithuania will be the scene for the first MRO Eastern Europe Conference that will take place in Vilnius on May 23-24, 2012.
The MRO Conference, arranged by the Lithuanian provider FL Technics, will attract participants from more than 200 aviation companies, MRO providers, aviation training institutes from all over the world.
In the last two years, Latvia used to convene another major aviation and airport event, the North Hub Conference arranged by airBaltic that, however, suspended this year's conference, ostensibly for cost-saving reasons.
