Apr 18, 2012 (newstodate): Malmo Airport, in southern Sweden, will welcome a new low-cost carrier from this summer.
Albania's Belle Air will launch flights on the route between Pristina, in Kosovo, and Malmo from June 21, 2012, with one weekly rotation, increasing to two weekly rotations from July 16, 2012, and using Airbus A3190 aircraft on the route.
The new route will primarily attract ethnic traffic in the Scandinavian countries.
Belle Air is to become the airport's third low-cost operator after WIZZ Air and Ryanair, and the route to Pristina will be the airport's 14th international low-cost route.
