Apr 24, 2012 (newstodate): Calculated on the basis of CASS figures, SAS Cargo sold seven percent less export cargo in the Nordic markets in March 2012.
In total, SAS Cargo's March 2012 export volumes out of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland was 3,029 tonnes against 3,254 tonnes in March 2011.
SAS Cargo took the lead among IATA carriers in the Danish and Swedish markets, while SAS Cargo was No six in Norway and No 4 in Finland.
SAS Cargo increased its volumes by 1.5 percent, y-o-y, to 925 tonnes in the Danish export market and by 34.1 percent to 655 tonnes in the Norway.
In Sweden, SAS Cargo however saw its volumes down by 20.1 percent to 1,312 tonnes, while volumes ex Finland dropped by 28.2 percent, y-o-y, to 137 tonnes.
