Apr 02, 2012 (newstodate): Latvia's Riga Airport is seeing its cargo volumes recovering after a modest start to the year.
In March 2012, the airport generated a total of 1,113 tonnes of cargo and mail, an increase by 10.3 percent, y-o-y.
Totals included 604 tonnes of cargo, increasing 4.7 percent, and 509 tonnes of mail, up 18.1 percent, y-o-y.
During the first three months of 2012, the airport has thus handled a total of 3,041 tonnes, including 1,571 tonnes of cargo, down 2.3 percent y-o-y, and 1,470 tonnes of mail, increasing 20.6 percent against 2011.
