Apr 25, 2012 (newstodate): In 2011, Iceland's Keflavik Airport saw its cargo volumes down by 23.2 percent, y-o-y.
A total of 26,645 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, including 17,916 tonnes of exports, down 25.1 percent, and 8,729 tonnes of imports, down 19.1 percent, y-o-y.
The volumes in 2011 were the lowest since 1998, when the airport handled 25,037 tonnes of cargo and mail.
