Apr 26, 2012 (newstodate): IATA export cargo volumes were down in Finland during March 2012.
A total of 3,565 tonnes was carried out of Finland in IATA airlines, a drop by 6.9 percent, y-o-y.
Undisputed leader in the market was Finnair Cargo with 49.7 percent of the total market, carrying 1,772 tonnes of exports - but still down 3.7 percent in volumes compared to March 2011.
Lufthansa Cargo, with 10.7 percent of the market in March 2012, carried 382 tonnes, down 7.3 percent, y-o-y.
Third came KLM Cargo, down 40.3 percent, y-o-y, to 197 tonnes, followed by SAS Cargo, 137 tonnes and down 28.2 percent.
With 125 tonnes, Cargolux was #5 and down 24.8 percent, while Singapore Airlines Cargo, #6, took 121 tonnes after increasing by 36 percent, y-o-y.
Growth-wise, Turkish Airlines took the price with a 201.6 percent increase in volumes to 108 tonnes, securing the #7 position on the top-10 list.
