Mar 02, 2012 (newstodate): Plans to move all cargo handling activities by Spirit Air Cargo Handling into one location at Terminal North, Copenhagen Airport, are now close to completion.
Most of the infrastructure, offices and equipments is now in place at the new location, and the final cut-over is planned for March 13, 2012 - with all signals green at the moment.
-Our plan has been to have all operations in place from day 1, closing down the former location at Terminal East completely to avoid any confusion. And this seems to hold, says Carsten Johansson, Spirit Air Cargo Handling managing director.
The Terminal East now to be left by Spirit Air Cargo Handling is owned by an American investment company, while the new location at Terminal North is owned by Copenhagen Airports.
