Mar 07, 2012 (newstodate): Ahead of its launch of Denmark's Billund Airport as its 48th base opening on March 22, 2012, Ryanair has announced the opening of a 20th route at Billund.
New on the schedule are three weekly flights between Billund Airport and Budapest, originating in Budapest.
Already on sale are Ryanair flights from Billund Airport to Alghero, Alicante, Carcassonne, Corfu, Cracow, Edinburgh, Faro, Girona, London, Malaga, Mallorca, Malta, Milano, Pisa, Rom, Tenerife and Trapani, Venice and Zadar.
Ryanair will base two Boeing 737-800 aircraft at Billund Airport, expected to deliver about 800,000 passengers annually, and sustain up to 800 jobs in the Billund region.
