Mar 23, 2012 (newstodate): The Lithuanian company FL Technics Training is providing a four weeks maintenance course for the Russian carrier Donavia, a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Aeroflot.
The Airbus A320 Family aircraft maintenance training program will provide Donavia aircraft technicians with the knowledge necessary for carrying out aircraft technical support as a certified B2 aviation maintenance specialist.
In Russia and the CIS countries, carriers are operating around 200 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, and according to Airbus data, the companies have already placed orders this year for another 27 aircraft of this family.
Based at Rostov on don, Donavia currently operates a fleet comprising seven Boeing 737-500 and three Boeing 737-400 aircraft, but plans are to renew the fleet with Airbus A319 and Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
Already in 2012, the company is poised to take delivery of four or five Airbus A319 aircraft.
