Mar 08, 2012 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT has picked a provider in China for aircraft maintenance.
A two-year contract has been signed with Boeing China for maintenance of the carrier's fleet of five Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, with the first aircraft already in for a C-check at the maintenance center in Shanghai.
Boeing Shanghai was established in June 2006 as a joint venture of Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and China Eastern Airlines.
