Apr 26, 2012 (newstodate): State intervention has reportedly healed the rift between airline and airport in Armenia.
The Armenian carrier Armavia has generated a debts pile with the the country's Yerevan Zvartnots Airport concerning unpaid charges for airport ground handling.
The carrier threatened to leave the country claiming that the airport charges are overly excessive compared to levels in other markets, and to make its point clear the airline also suspended several flights over the last few weeks.
Now the Armenian government has intervened and brought about a dialogue between the belligerent parties, ending with what is termed a reasonable solution that will ensure the continued provision of flight services by Armavia.
