Mar 06, 2012 (newstodate): Iceland Express and Holidays Czech Airlines have decided to extend their agreement covering the provision of two Airbus A320 aircraft into the spring of 2013.
The cooperation started on November 21, 2011, after Iceland Express terminated its contract with now-defunct Astraeus on flight operations following a marked deterioration of service quality and punctuality.
First considered a temporary solution, the two companies have now agreed to keep on extending and developing this mutually beneficial relationship even further in the future.
Both Holidays Czech Airlines and its mother company Czech Airlines have their main hub in Prague, which will be one of 17 destinations featured by Iceland Express next summer.
This will immediately open up for onward transiting flights via Prague for Iceland Express passengers.
