Mar 01, 2012 (newstodate): Representatives from Russian and German aviation authorities have met to discuss a further opening of air traffic between the two nations.
While no official statements have been issued, sources say the intentions are to further eliminate barriers to air services bringing the Russia-German air traffic closer to almost open skies-conditions.
Issues include easing restrictions on the number of designated carriers and allowing for more commercial freedom including increasing the number of points to be served and easier access for new entrants.
