Mar 13, 2012 (newstodate): The Danish forwarding and logistics services provider DSV Air & Sea A/S has built a strong presence in the Gulf region.
The company has established regional headquarters at Dubai International Airport, with own logistics terminal and office in Jebel Ali Harbor, offering a full pallet of air, sea and ground transportation logistics services as well as project support in the region.
-DSV is among the first to enter a cooperation agreement, or SGHA, with Dnata, operating as a "non-airline" with own IATA code in Dubai International Airport and Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport, says Ole Christiansen, DSV Projects Air Chartering - Cargo & Passenger General Manager.
-Our staff is thus supervising all our flights and transit operations in the airports for customers, thanks to our set-up with own IATA code.
-This grants us a unique status in the UAE for our air and sea operations from Europe and the Far East, as well as our existing set-up between Jebel Ali Harbor in the North Zone, and Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport, in the South Zone, says Mr Christiansen.
