Mar 28, 2012 (newstodate): In February 2012, only one IATA carrier managed to grow its export cargo tonnage in the Swedish market that dipped 21.5 percent, y-o-y, to 7,496 tonnes.
The exception was Korean Air Lines Cargo, #3 on the Top-10 list, that lifted 613 tonnes of cargo out of Sweden, corresponding to 8.2 percent of the IATA export market, and growing 4.8 percent, y-o-y.
All other carriers were down in volumes, with SAS Cargo dropping 22.3 percent to 1,151 tonnes and still holding the #1 position with 15.4 percent of the market in February.
#2, Finnair Cargo dropped 21.8 percent to 718 tonnes, followed by #4, Emirates that was down 12.2 percent to 535 tonnes, and KLM Cargo with 525 tonnes, down 7.3 percent and #5 on the list.
Lufthansa Cargo dropped the most with 57.6 percent, y-o-y, to 483 tonnes and the position as #6.
