Mar 21, 2012 (newstodate): Cargo Center Sweden, located at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, has adjusted its structure.
The provider of cargo and terminal services has split its business into three units, airline handling, forwarder handling, and road-feeder support.
-This is actually a return to our original organization and is driven by a desire to achieve a more marked profile towards our customers in these business segments, says Lars Keding, Cargo Center Sweden managing director.
-Furthermore, we have set up a new E-Freight Group, headed by
Magnus Ohlin, specifically charged with working in third-party IT systems in accordance with the airlines' IT platform choices.
-This group will also be working with third-party systems that may be unrelated to e-freight, but which may be needed, or requested to supplement our own IT system which is constructed to conform with IATAs CIMP standard messaging, says Mr Keding.
