Feb 08, 2012 (newstodate): The Swedish ACMI carrier TOR Air is still grounded after the Swedish aviation authority Transportstyrelsen revoked its Operating License in December 2011 over doubts of the carrier's financial ability to meet obligations.
The carrier still holds a valid AOC, but efforts to attract fresh capital to secure the resumption of flights have still not produced any results.
The carrier, based at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, launched flights in December 2008 and has been operating one Airbus A320 and two Boeing 737 aircraft.
