Dec 06, 2012 (newstodate): The Swedish carrier NextJet has leased an ATR aircraft from the Slovak ACMI provider Danube Wings on a four-month contract from January 2012.
The ATR 75-200 aircraft, capable of operating on very short runways, will bolster the Swedish carrier's fleet during a period to allow it to serve the route from Stockholm to Gallivara, north of the Arctic Circle with two daily rotations.
Already in the NextJet fleet are 16 aircraft, including four ATP and 12 SAAB 340 aircraft.
