Feb 13, 2012 (newstodate): The Romanian low-cost carrier Blue Air, operating since December 2004, is building up its fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
The carrier has so far been operating seven Boeing 737 of various types, but two more Boeing 737 have been added now, and a third aircraft will be delivered by summer 2012, taking the fleet to a total of 10 aircraft.
Blue Air Budget is also to move its operational base from Bucharest Aurel Vlaicu International Airport to Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport from March 25, 2012.
The move is a response to the government's decision to move all low-cost operations to Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport.
