Feb 14, 2012 (newstodate): Estonia and Singapore have signed a new open skies air services agreement.
The bi-lateral agreement will pave the way for establishing direct flights between the two countries once the two parliaments have signed the documents.
Under the agreement, carriers from the two countries will be free to operate between Singapore and any points in Estonia, via and beyond to any third country, without restrictions in capacity, frequency or aircraft type.
As a unique feature, the open skies agreement will allow carriers from Singapore to use Tallinn Airport as a hub for cargo aircraft with onward flights to other destinations.
