Feb 28, 2012 (newstodate): Newcomer to Lithuania's Vilnius Airport will be the Russian carrier Ak Bars Aero.
The carrier plans to launch flights on the route between St Petersburg and Vilnius starting from March 26, 2012.
Ak Bars Aero will use its CRJ200 on the route, to be served with a daily rotation.
Based at Bugulma Airport, Ak Bars Aero operates a fleet comprising eight CRJ200, one Challenger and one Yak-40 aircraft on a route network including a number of Russian destinations as well as Munich, Baku - and now soon also Vilnius.
