Feb 01, 2012 (newstodate): Korean Air Cargo will introduce its new Boeing 777F freighter on the route between Oslo Gardermoen Airport and Seoul Incheon Airport.
February 15, 2012, will see the first rotation by the new freighter on this route, thus replacing the Boeing 747-400F on one of three weekly rotations.
The change of aircraft will have little impact on the service as the two types differ little in capacity, but more on operational costs and fuel consumption with Boeing 777F offering more profitable rotations.
Korean Air Cargo will take delivery of a total of five Boeing 777F aircraft of which the first and so far only unit was delivered in January 2012.
