Feb 06, 2012 (newstodate): In an effort to boost its brand, the Icelandic LCC Iceland Express has contracted Aviareps to provide GSA services in a range of markets.
Besides Poland where the company is already serving as the carrier's GSA, Aviareps will now also promote Iceland Express sales in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France.
While these markets will be approached as to the carrier's seasonal flights to and from Iceland, Denmark will now be further developed as a year-round source market to Iceland.
In its scaled-down summer 2012 schedule, seasonal destinations include Bologna in Italy and Basel in Switzerland with one weekly connection, Frankfurt Hahn in Germany with two weekly connections, and Paris and Berlin with three weekly connections to Icelands capital Reykjavik.
Services between Iceland and Copenhagen will be continuously offered with a daily rotations.
