Feb 23, 2012 (newstodate): Estonian Air has now taken delivery of its first of four Embraer E-170 aircraft.
The aircraft arrived at Tallinn Airport on February 22, 2012, and will be followed by the delivery of the next three aircraft within the coming few weeks.
The Embraer aircraft is slated to make its debut in commercial service between Tallinn and Copenhagen Airport on February 27, 2012, with flights to Oslo, in Norway, as its second destination from March 5, 2012.
All four aircraft will be operated on a one-year lease agreement with Finnair, and Estonian Air is now negotiating with Embraer and aircraft lessors on the delivery schedules and conditions for the further eight aircraft.
These aircraft will be a mix of E-175 and E-190 models, scheduled to enter the fleet during 2013-2015.
