Feb 27, 2012 (newstodate): Air China has stalled its plans for launching flights to Denmark.
According to earlier plans, confirmed in December 2011, Air China would operate non-stop between Beijing and Copenhagen, offering four weekly rotations with Airbus A330-200 aircraft beginning June 2, 2012.
But these plans have now been postponed, bookings stopped, and Air China will instead code-share with SAS that operates daily Airbus A340 flights between Copenhagen and Beijing.
In the meantime, SAS is now counting down for reintroducing flights on its route between Copenhagen and Shanghai from March 1, 2012.
SAS first opened its route between Copenhagen and Shanghai on March 28, 2004, but pulled out again from 2007.
