Feb 08, 2012 (newstodate): Reconstruction works on Russia's Magas Airport, in Ingushetia, will be completed this summer.
Among the projects comprised by the reconstruction program launched in 2010 are the upgrading of airport's passenger terminal, resurfacing of the apron, asphalt surfacing on the 3,046m runway, a new taxiway, a new aircraft fueling system, and new draining systems.
The airport is served by UTAir with daily flights to Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
In 2009, ownership of the airport was transferred from state to regional government.
