Feb 22, 2012 (newstodate): Bahrain-based Gulf Air has taken a further step in its services to Copenhagen Denmark, demonstrating its success on the route.
Earlier planning to increase to six weekly rotations on the route from June, the carrier will now go the extra mile to daily flights from June 1, 2012, after increasing from four to five rotations from March 3, 2012.
Gulf Air launched flights on the route on July 1, 2011, following on the first Gulf-based carrier, Qatar Airways calling at Copenhagen from March 30, 2010, and later followed by Emirates that launched flights from Dubai to Copenhagen on August 1, 2011.
That leaves Etihad the only major Gulf carrier currently absent in the Danish and Nordic market.
