Feb 28, 2012 (newstodate): The world's fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft has now grown to a total of 71, with the third A380 for China Southern Airlines delivered on February 27, 2012.
No 70 was delivered on February 25, 2012, being the 21st big airliner for Emirates that has ordered a total of 90 A380 aircraft.
So far the A380 aircraft have been delivered to Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qantas, Air France, Lufthansa, Korean Air, and China Southern.
New operators to take delivery of their first A380 aircraft in 2012 will include Thai Airlines and Malaysian, while British Airways and Qatar will join the ranks in 2013.
