Dec 13, 2012 (newstodate): In October 2012 SAS Cargo saw its joint Nordic export cargo volumes down by 10.5 percent, y-o-y.
The company lifted a total of 3,046 tonnes of export cargo from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, compared to 3,404 tonnes in October 2011.
The decline in volumes was especially seen in the Swedish market where SAS Cargo saw its volumes down by 20.7 percent, y-o-y, to 1,282 tonnes, and in Norway where SAS Cargo was also down 23.3 percent, to 530 tonnes.
Volumes in Finland increased by 4.9 percent to 162 tonnes, while a total of 1,072 tonnes was aggregated in the Danish market, an increase by 14.2 percent, y-o-y.
