Dec 10, 2012 (newstodate): Airfreight volumes rose again at Estonia's Tallinn Airport in November 2012.
A total of 2,806 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, an increase by 33 percent, y-o-y.
The growth was driven by a 34.8 percent increase in import volumes to 2,481 tonnes.
While still relatively moderate, export volumes were also up by 26.5 percent to 191 tonnes.
In January-November 2012, the airport has seen its total cargo volumes increasing by 27.9 percent, y-o-y,m to 21,940 tonnes, again driven by a 26.3 percent growth in imports, totaling 18,356 tonnes.
