Dec 18, 2012 (newstodate): Danish provider of aircraft maintenance, Northern Aerotech has moved into new premises at Copenhagen Airport.
Set up only on January 1, 2011 but building on decades of professional experience, Northern Aerotech now employs 43 staff, including six administrative positions, managed by Morten Schalls Jorgensen.
-Launch customer with Northern Aerotech was SmartLynx, and since then we have added a range of customer airlines including Avion Express, Blue1, Estonian Air, Ryanair, KLM Cityhopper, flyNiki, easyJet, Lufthansa and CSA, says Mr Schalls Jorgensen.
-We are EASA Part 145-approved and provide airline customers with a range of maintenance services at stations including Riga, Prague, Tallinn, Vilnius, New Delhi, Brno, Copenhagen, Billund, Keflavik and others, following airline customer needs and requests.
-At these stations we have licensed technicians to provide line maintenance and other jobs, as well as drawing on additional staff and workshop capabilities from cooperating partners, or sending out own staff from Copenhagen and other stations.
-Our concept allows customers to either have aircraft maintenance jobs performed flexibly by the hour, or signing up for all-inclusive maintenance services under transparent contracts lowering own in-house costs, up to and including a full out-sourcing of technical services, says Mr Schalls Jorgensen.
