Dec 21, 2013 (newstodate): On December 20, 2012, Slovenia's Adria Airways carried through another reshuffle in its top management.
The carrier has announced the replacement of its now former CEO, Klemen Bostjancic for economic and business reasons and appointed the previous commercial director Mr Mark Anzur as the new President of the Management Board & CEO and Accountable Manager.
Adria Airways called for non-binding offers for the purchase of 74 percent of the stakes in September 2012, but since then silence has shrouded plans for eventual privatization of the carrier.
In the meantime, the EU Commission has launched a scrutiny of the Slovenian state's capital injection into the carrier, which may end up with a demand for the airline to pay back the four capital injections between 2007 and 2011.
