Dec 14, 2012 (newstodate): Latvia's Riga International Airport is to have a new ATC information display system.
The airport's current system was developed in-house in 2000 and needs a replacement.
The airport has now contracted Frequentis to deliver and implement its NOTAM and OPMET data management applications providing pertinent information to each air traffic controller by just one integrated screen.
The new system is due for deployment in 2013 and will be commissioned in early 2014.
